The Tragedy of Summer and Winter: Autumn | Herfst | The Weekly Vlog

Beautiful. All those waterfowl and mushrooms reminded me of my own footage – I have got hours of video of that sort of stuff, but not found anything to do with them yet. Well done.

Very Pretty. I heard today that the Netherlands was one of the happiest countries in the world. Is that true?

2008-11-17 02:49:26

That might be very true, although several sources give different details and outcomes of Top 10 rates and such, for instance http://thehappinessshow.com/HappiestCountries.htm and http://www.financialjesus.com/2008/05/27/top-10-happiest-countries/ According to the honorable dutch spokesman who is now talking to you: You Are Right! ;-)

The Bead People continue with Bead Active – an action pack for your life in this world.

Change comes from little steps… I like that observation… having a goal and going towards it by going from (small) goal to goal to the endgoal… just like the japanese stones in a creek that help you get to the other side! ;-)

A bit of speeded-up demolition fun.

Before I left to take all that wood to the landfill, Margaret reminded me that we have some friends with a wood-burning stove who would probably appreciate it. So I took it all out of the car again!

That was too much fun!! I love that stuff

I’m taking you a long with a run on Halo’s Danger Canyon.
Hold on. Kill or be killed.

(So many videos to choose from. VloMo08, 30 vlogs in 30 days)

Is this an online game of some sort? I’ve heard the word, “halo” but never knew what it was. Do you play this with other people, and what happened at the end?
Thanks,
Milt

I belong to a clan and we get together online and communicate with each other via headsets and play Halo on the PC. Generally we play CTF (Capture the Flag). You grab their flag and return it to our home base and your team gets a point. First to 10 wins, or whoever is leading after 45 minutes. This map is Danger Canyon and there are roughly 15 maps or arenas we battle in.
Our clan is unique because most of the people in it (men and women) are over 30. Our oldest player is in his 70s.
Nothing better then having a rough day at work and going online to blow somebody up. :)
This video… although it looks shitty, you can hear a bunch of the folks with me.

2008-11-19 07:45:06

Is Punga the name of your cat? Or something else? Thanks, Milt

2008-11-19 19:18:51

it´s the name of my cat, and something else: punga is chilean for thief, street kid, juvenile…

I have a small camera, a need-to-change wireless microphone and few technical resources. Yet I walk in search of stories that have to be share, stories that if aren´t share are lost in the limbo of the stories.

I rolled up, Inhabitants of Babel is a documentary serie, produced exclusively for the Web, I started to devise earlier this year and I want to count through (micro) stories of immigration, ideas, thoughts and different optical from those who live in the world of babel, the world of all those who emigrated a day looking for something: a dream, education, work and even a couple.

Several months later, taking time where there isn’t , we started to count the stories of the inhabitants of Babel.

This’s the trailer, hold the first chapter soon. and it’ll be with Eng. subtitles…
