Facing Mum @ hospital, sadness, tenderness, life.
a very moving, thoughtful and poetic portrait.
the close-up of the delicate hands with the fine gestures, the clear gaze of the warm eyes conveying so many unsaid stories… then, the complementary, harsh contrast of the view to the outside, condense this short video piece into such a fine, tender and compassionate document of reflected, empathic sensitivity.
thanks for sharing.
amicalement, sam
Thanks for sharing Gabriel!
Very nice. I want more. It feels like the beginning of something wonderful. Thanks,

Me, going from my front door to my office. Exciting, huh? How do YOU get to work every day?
Cool. I tried to vlog myself going to work, but I needed both hands to drive. I guess I need to make or get some sort of camera mount.
What did you use? How did you keep the camera steady?
Ha… I was actually driving one-handed. I have a sanyo xacti, so I can sorta kinda hold the camera and drive at the same time (plus we don’t have much traffic here in Kansas!).

Patty Cake is really just too much fun - at least for grandparents!

Syncing your Xacti. Huub, you were right! It is out of sync. Folks you might want to watch this in the original post since it’s bigger there and easier to see. This is really for folks who have the Xacti E1. I can’t speak for all the other Xactis out there.

David vs Golliath or The Loss of Scale
From: http://alejandroangel.es/tv/2008/08/23/vacaciones-en-ibiza/
I spent a few days surrounded from fantastic landscapes, beaches with 4 tonalities of blue, a historical center with an excellent sight as Dalt Vila, an unsurpassable environment…
Ibiza besides its very well earned reputation like city Mecca of the European party also is an island with many plans to do, a space where to rest, to relax and olvdidarse of the worldly-minded noise.

I hooked up a Logitech webcam and shot time-lapsed video all day Saturday. And then it took another 5 days to get the video over to the Mac. Enjoy.

Margaret and I got married in August 1995. Our recent trip to Canada was a kind of second honeymoon, and brought back memories of what it had been like thirteen years before. For this video I delved right back to the first tape I recorded with my first camcorder, a Canon UC8Hi which I bought specially.
As you can imagine, I was kind of busy on the day of the wedding, so I just handed the camcorder around to guests and friends and asked them to film anything they liked. Here are a few little clips to give a flavour of the day. Apparently I never stopped grinning the whole day!
