Week 20, 2008

It’s really amazingly simple to do, but when you study it, you realize that it is the study of a life time. Milt Lee. Photo CC by Johnny Blood

Oh it would be so sad, too bad. But one must move, rolling on, feeling the heel of oppression catching the roll of life.

This week a new colaborative vlog is arriving, its called Vlogombia (http://vlogombia.tuneldigital.com)and the idea is that it turns into a place where colombian videobloggers can make more difussion of their videos and at the same time it could be potencialized the vlogging because it isn’t so strong at the country as I would like.

This video it’s a presentation about what I think it’s a videoblog and how you can do it. Making emphasis in the simplicity of making videos if you have ideas, no matter if the tecnichal part it’s not the better at the beggining.

By the way i’ve got a new theme, thanks to Show in a box.

Mothers Day 2008. All my mom wanted to do was go to a park and walk around. I thought it would be fun to bring my camera.

Wow - I’ve done 20 videos! Amazing…

For this week’s video, I planted some pansies by our mailbox - definitely some signs of spring!

My web host had some problems, so this post was (possibly) lost. The video still works, cause that’s hosted at blip… but the post on my videoblog might not be there. If not, feel free to visit davidleeking.com/etc - my videoblog’s main page.

I was fortunate to have Professor Kuhn from the School of Cinematic Arts at USC join me once again. This time we talk about fair use and how ideas about media remix are changing. The video is meant to be informational, not legal, in content. Specific legal questions about specific work should be directed to a legal professional. I find Professor Kuhn’s opinions very interesting and I hope this video circulates. Pass it on!

Hey, I used to be a stage hand, and sometimes it’s nice to do it all over again. It usually takes 6 to 8 hours to set up a show and take it down. But you get to see it in 4 minutes. Chicago comes to Rapid.

Semanal08 : Week 20 - Einstein’s Revisited
Semanal08 : Week 20 - Einstein’s Revisited from Influxx Media on Vimeo.

A couple of weeks ago, on A Saturday morning, The Sprite and I were trying to figure out what we would do for a couple of hours while ElectricMummy enjoyed her turn to sleep in. Our little Early Bird is up to get the Weekend Worm promptly at 6:30am every weekend like German clockwork.

On this particular weekend The Sprite had his mind made up that he wanted to step back in time and watch some of those Baby Einstein’s. you know, those DVDs of toys and toddlers and primary colors.
