Semanal08 : Week 13 – Fun With Water & Leaves
On a chill but pleasent spring morning, our little Sprite finds many an amusement in the back garden wonderland of fallen leaves, puddles, dirt and all manner of things to get himself filthy dirty and soaking wet. Oh well, boys will be boys. Anyhow, it keeps him busy and occupied for a time. Even if it means we have to rake up the leaves again after the G-Express ploughed through them for the umpteenth time.

Last week we went on holiday to the “bracing” Lincolnshire coast. The weather was mixed, although sand and wind seemed to be constant phenomena. This video was shot during a walk along the seafront one day.

The vocal and banjo overdubs remain, but the instrumental break is sans solo.I used to perform music live, but I’m desperately out of practice.I’ll stand by the song, though. as we prepared to leave SF, we decided to do some things like go to the beach. what there is a beach 10 miles away? i like that people before us made a little see-saw bridge and wrote in the sand.

I can’t understand why the people in Europe let the weather show the way of their mood…

whatever, yesterday was the begining of the spring and the people went out to the beach… full of people.

Kansas librarians put on the first Library Camp Kansas, an unconference. It was great fun, and stimulated some great discussion! This video shows my day. I’m thinking I need to learn the fine art of narration a bit better… thoughts?

While out walking one day I saw this face placed into a tree. It made me wonder, who put the face there? Why did they do this? It seems to have a kind of mysterious air about it. But what could it mean?

Week 13

KILI Radio is the community radio station for the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in Southwestern South Dakota. High atop Porcupine Butte is the station, and they just celebrated their 25th anniversary. I thought you folks would enjoy seeing what life is like at a Lakota celebration.
