De Roltrap | Episode 12
thanks huub! but it can’t beat the roltrap’s meta-walk… great.
I guess ‘Meta-Walk’ is the best definition of The Roltrap Project I ever heard before! I guess you are pointing at this Reverse Speech Therapy stuff: With a Metawalk you are taken through a pictorial journey in the unconscious mind where you see these metaphors and then change them according to the instructions given with the previous reverse messages. As the pictures or metaphors are changed with this process, so too, do unconscious structures, behaviours and the world around you also change…

KILI Radio is the community radio station for the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in Southwestern South Dakota. High atop Porcupine Butte is the station, and they just celebrated their 25th anniversary. I thought you folks would enjoy seeing what life is like at a Lakota celebration.
The music haunts me. Some recommendations from you of this kind of music would be splendid.
Does the radio do podcasts?
There is power in gathering together.
Radio helps us accomplish that.
Watching this filled my heart with a full feeling.
That was really beautiful, Milt. Bravo!

Did you understand that dutch voice in your video? Funny to hear my own language in your vid!

While out walking one day I saw this face placed into a tree. It made me wonder, who put the face there? Why did they do this? It seems to have a kind of mysterious air about it. But what could it mean?
What do you think?

Hi Jay, When does week 15 start? ;-D
From: http://davidleeking.com/etc/2008/03/library-camp-kansas-2008.html
Kansas librarians put on the first Library Camp Kansas, an unconference. It was great fun, and stimulated some great discussion! This video shows my day. I’m thinking I need to learn the fine art of narration a bit better… thoughts?
Hey, David -
You asked - I shall deliver.
- The narration was spot on - good tone - eyeline right - brief - to the point - editorially, you might have let the narration’s sound go under the first shot of the conference…would tighten it up a bit.
Great stuff happening in your world. Thanks for sharing.
Sweet - great idea! I would never have thought about the “sound under the second shot” thing… now I’ll have to figure out how to do it!
Thanks!

i’m having trouble keeping up with my personal vlogging while on the road! so i think i’ll just keep posting from here
This is marvelous in every way. Oh, the idea of sacrifice. Womanizing & the Catholic Church go hand and hand, it seems to me. The sex-for-procreation thing contributed to that. Respect. The rituals that hold us together when all else is lost. Familiarity –> comfort. Brava, Ashley. Brava.

Been busy with life.
Still manage to get wee, lo-fi gems.
This one made me laugh out loud.
Hope this finds you all well.
Continue to work on the documentary.
It is an extreme challenge.

No! You can’t put peanut butter with cheese! I think that’s illegal in the U.S.
Kanucks…
Cheese goes with flour, tho my father would say cheese also goes with apple pie.
No accounting for taste.

Been going through the archive of “almost-blogged” videos from before I actually started editing and posting stuff. Posting it now and starting a project I’ve had in my head for a while: Retrovlogging! Here’s a clip from January 4th, 2006 on the set of NCIS.

I can’t understand why the people in Europe let the weather show the way of their mood…
whatever, yesterday was the begining of the spring and the people went out to the beach… full of people.
From: http://ryanedit.blogspot.com/2008/03/we-were-here-sf-last-days.html
as we prepared to leave SF, we decided to do some things like go to the beach. what there is a beach 10 miles away? i like that people before us made a little see-saw bridge and wrote in the sand.

Length: 3:42Been tweaking this thing for hours in the attempt to disquise my occasionally off key singing and the fact that I recorded it with terrible microphones (the Xacti HD and PowerBook G4 internals, to be precise).Decided to call it quits, went back and (mostly) de-effected it. The vocal and banjo overdubs remain, but the instrumental break is sans solo.I used to perform music live, but I’m desperately out of practice.I’ll stand by the song, though. Poor white steamboat worker from the wrong side of the river falls for middle-class mulatto city girl, circa 1861. (Historical language in effect.)Feel free to drop me a line if you’d like to know why a Gen X California Hapa would be writing a song like this in the first place.

Last week we went on holiday to the “bracing” Lincolnshire coast. The weather was mixed, although sand and wind seemed to be constant phenomena. This video was shot during a walk along the seafront one day.

Semanal08 : Week 13 - Fun With Water & Leaves
On a chill but pleasent spring morning, our little Sprite finds many an amusement in the back garden wonderland of fallen leaves, puddles, dirt and all manner of things to get himself filthy dirty and soaking wet. Oh well, boys will be boys. Anyhow, it keeps him busy and occupied for a time. Even if it means we have to rake up the leaves again after the G-Express ploughed through them for the umpteenth time.
