I really have to agree with the rabbit - what is her name BTW? Clearly she has a keen sense of art, and the hands - well I’m inspired now.
M.
Jessica Kizorek is the woman video-artist. The Rabbit’s name is Shirley.

This is what I saw today.
Éirinn go Brách!
a combo of opera (excerpts) and preserves in a shop window, at night.
[what i saw on the way back from an opera evening, still having parts of it echoing; you might label it surreal, yet it was just an ordinary evening]
fantastic. you know that those lemons are controlling our minds, right?

Anti-War Protest 3-19-2008
I went for lunch and stumbled upon one of the many anti-war protests in Washington, DC, yesterday.
About 3 minutes in there was an altercation that I didn’t fully capture as I was trying to figure out what was going on and if I needed to move.
The video is just under 7 minutes.

This week’s video is also from SXSW2008, and features a band I saw on the street. They converted a moving van into a band stage… pretty cool idea!

there are plenty ways to get awake… this isn’t the best one.
it’s purim in jerusalem and shabbath is over so there’s heaps of
people in the ben yehuda mall - all dancing and drinking and letting
off crackers, spraying each other with cans of foam and generally
having a good time. here’s some of the dancers - to some drummers in
the mall.

From: http://www.makevideo.org.uk/2008/03/23/semanal-week-12-snow-at-easter/
All winter my children have been eagerly awaiting some snow to play in, but we didn’t have a single flake. Suddenly, on Easter Sunday we get just about enough snow to make a snowman. It began melting almost immediately, but it was fun while it lasted.
I have a couple more - I’m behind a few weeks as had some shocks at home and didn’t feel like recording things.
it’s purim in jerusalem - so parties, festivals, costumes, pranks in the city. lots of fun.

Kelly D’s Famous St. John’s NL walking tours can’t be beat. And boy, The Battery sure does look small.
Invented by Nikola Tesla, it is defined as “a step-up transformer with an air core; used to produce high voltages at high frequencies.” Source: http://wordnet.princeton.edu/perl/webwn?s=tesla%20coil
For a definition of Tesla coils see: http://www.thefreedictionary.com/Tesla+coil This is a Tesla coil I filmed at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles.
And yes, I am aware that the credits run longer than the video.

Length: 1:41″100 Years in Cinema” is the title card slogan for the collaborative movie clip party I host each year with friends. Back in August 2005 I posted the opening montage from the 8th Edition to the videoblog.Lately it’s become a favorite of the boy’s when we watch old Matchbook Films videos in the kitchen via Front Row. The fast-paced onscreen action and the Chemical Brothers beats make a compelling argument for a dance party of one.
From: http://ryanedit.blogspot.com/2008/03/can-masdeu-squat-community-barcelona.html
we visited this radical squat-community called can masdeu in barcelona. they have these amazing gardens on this beautiful land over looking barcelona and out to the sea. their story is really interesting- they took over the abandoned building in 2001 by just staging a sit in (ok it was a little more dramatic than that). this footage is sound-less again.

Semanal08 : Week 12 - Drive Time
Driving the commute on a Southern California freeway can be a trying experience. It can take hours to travel the two miles to Mrs Miggins Pie Shop, and hours to get back home again. At which point the huge commemorative pie you bought to celebrate Huge Commemorative Pie Week is cold and grossly unsatisfactory.
The roads are populated by nutters and maniacs, on cell phones, texting and eating cheeseburgers. So I do what any good citizen would do. Pick up his Flip and capture some artistically shot video of traffic lights and sunsets and blurry dashboard things.
Music: Boards Of Canada
Shot on Flip Video Recorder.
Cut and graphics in Final Cut Pro.
Encoded in Episode to FLV and H264.
