The future is scary. What will my hands do?
Definitely taking a page out of Dave Huth’s book for this one. (www.davidhuth.com) What can I say he’s a great teacher and friend.

You old Dog! You had some footage of Dupont Circle. Bet you thought you could sneak that by me! HA. I really need to know what’s happening to all those folks who are trapped on a roltrap.
Thanks Huub!

It all started while listening to christian radio.
Shopocalypse!
please let that dog out!
oh oh. this was a commnent for jay´s video.
That was really good. Nice story, and I love you too!
I especially liked the dog - such a perfect juxtaposition of unthinking praise, corporate trickery, the personification of unthinking in he whose name shall not be said.
Really nice Jay!
from exterior to interior, with kajaking wispers.

Yep, it’s spring, and we went to the home of one of South Dakota’s premier gardeners. She has been gardening for a long time, but this year, she’s breaking new ground! This is the second in a series of our visits with the Greens. The first - posted a couple of weeks ago, showed Milt Green building a strawbale green house. This week we join Jamie Green as she builds her own little green house. Perhaps you read about Jamie’s other gardening efforts in her Blog?

On a recent trip to Philadelphia I noticed a sign for the Flower Show. My first thought was, “Hey, that sounds great for my video blog!” So here it is, some scenes from the show. The video features Creative Commons-licensed music from the Eternal Jazz Project. From: http://www.makevideo.org.uk/2008/03/15/semanal-week-11-study/
At the moment I am very busy studying for a masters degree with The Open University, so I thought I would reflect that in this week’s Semanal video. Also I have never made a videoblog with my webcam before, so that seemed like a good game, too. This, somewhat hazy, video is the result.
Music is The Pier from 1791 by Mirek Krawczyk, (cc) by-sa.

From: http://www.matchbookfilms.com/2008/03/location-3.html
Length: 0:51Earlier this month I hosted a photo scavenger hunt in downtown San Francisco. One of the items on the list steered teams to this video on YouTube. The style is old-school vlog with a pretty basic GarageBand underlay, but since I’ve not made one like this before I thought I’d share it here. There are a couple of other videos I’ve made this year in other contexts that I should maybe post for Semanal 08. Since I’m so far behind….

Semanal08 : Week 11 - An Early Start
A rare occasion when the whole family is up on time and ready to go early on a weekday. Being up and ready early made me ponder how I could maximize my productive time, without neglecting sleep, and still getting out of the door quick enough to get me to work on time.
Sadly, on this particular morning, I spent too long videoblogging to get myself ready and out of the door early enough.
Shot on Flip Video Recorder.
Cut in Final Cut Pro.
Encoded in Episode to FLV and H264.
