yeah, this subject was breached back over on Ning at the beginning. I took the trouble to submit a few ideas and got zero feedback. Wont be wasting my time again. Heres a clue, if your are trying to build a community, its good for communication to go both ways.

hey adam..not sure who you sent your ideas to. Ning was a big mess IMHO which is why we came over here to the wordpress site.
Communication was messy since all of us are doing different things in different time zones.

Heey Jay, cheers for the reply. I uploaded to the thread on the Ning site. S’funny, ning to me looked and worked pretty cool. Having gotten used to that this WP site feels kinda spartan. Having said that I have not checked out the new features for week 5, sounds like a lot of improvement has been made there.
Sorry to grumble, you guys are admining this thing for free on your own time and last thing you need to hear is bitching. Sometimes it just feels like shouting into a vacuum, ya know. Not that I thought my headers were wicked good or anything. Felt they were a jumping off point and was looking for feedback.
So there ya go. I’ll touch base with you again later when i get into the office.

grumbling works. makes things happen.
Ning is definitely slick, but we didn’t like some features that we had no control over. The wordpress site is definitely spartan, but we have control and can now build/design the way we want. As Ryanne suggested, join the discussion group where we’re planning. We can do anything!

For over 10 years we have lived in this house with leaky windows and doors. In the summer the cool AC air leaks out, and in the winter the cold air leaks in. Such a terrible waste of energy. So one fine Saturday morning we decided to rectify this situation. And in a couple of hours, with the help of father-in-law Richard Hapsburg, a snuggly fitting back entry door was in place. Now, to fix the windows…stay tuned!
